Guatemala Radiates Groove

Alrighty then. Breakfast here is groovy - they eat ground-up black beans with everything. It´ll be like a normal b-fast but with beans. We should try this in America. Aside from eating, we met the womens´ group (Buenos Aires) for the first time today. Their community (Toj Mech) is way up there, like 7500 feet. That´s higher than Denver, people! Air up there doesn´t exist - no not really, but it´s thin. The sun pleasantly illuminated the day, which I personally enjoyed, despite basically everyone else sizzling under the heat like a freshly cooked lobster.

The traditional Mayan clothes are totally rad; the bright colors and geo-awesome patterns definitly catch one´s attention. Apparently, blonds dudes are some kinda rare special thing, because there was definitly a centralized attraction to our blonder companions.

So we´re workin´ all up on this hill: pushing dirt around, terracing it up, making measuring tools with twigs. All of which isn´t complicated - just work. Blood, sweat, and tears, dude. All the way.

The rest of the day was free time, which I was tres happy about. It was relaxing.
Thank You. This was ANNA. ANNA SPYHALSKI.
